 How
It Works:
A
Sitestar satellite dish
is installed at
your home or business so it faces the southwestern sky. A
cable is run from the dish to an internal satellite receiver that is easily installed
in your computer’s available PCI slot. A USB adapter is also available.
The system works by giving you a 400K high-speed connection when you are
downloading files from the Internet, which is basically every time you
look at a Web page, check your email, or download a file. Your computer is
also connected via a normal modem to your telephone line and the Internet.
This line is used for sending “requests” to the Internet over the dial-up
connection. Because the information in these requests are small (like when
you type in a URL and hit enter) and your satellite downloads are so
quick, you can surf the Internet at super fast speeds.

IMPORTANT: Please make certain you meet the minimum
system requirements before ordering. Hardware, installation and first
months payment due at sign off of installation. If you are not the
homeowner, please make sure you have permission from your landlord to
install the satellite dish. Sitestar is not responsible for equipment
installed without the permission from the owner of the premises.
Installation covers basic installation only. Any additional installation
requirements may cost more. Additional E-mail accounts available for
$4.95/month per account. Satellite service requires a minimum 12 month
contract. Gold Plan 2 reverts back to $59.95 after the first year.
Customers wishing to do all or part of the installation themselves will
qualify for a discount. Business and multi-user (networked) plan pricing
depend on the number of users and time needed online. Call today for
